During a function held at Kati Kati restaurant in Kampala on Monday 3rd February, 2019, URA FC's duo of Sam Ssimbwa and Cromwell Rwothomio were crowned the Pilsner Coach and Player of the month. respectively.
Each of the two pocketed UGX 1,000,000/= as the prize money for winning the accolade courtesy of Pilsner under th Uganda Breweries Limited umbrella.
Coach Sam Simbwa guided URA FC to four wins in January in five matches.

Sam Ssimbwa beat fellow compatriots Paul Kiwanuka of Bright Stars and Busoga United's Abbey Bogere Kikomeko.
Kiwanuka's antics saw his team win three matches in January losing only once to his conqueror URA FC 1:0. One of the three wins was a 1:0 triumph over Koboko rising stars in Uganda cup held on 23rd January 2020.
Abbey Bogere's Busoga United's charges won two of the four matches in January. There were identical 2:1 losses to Busia Young in Uganda cup and to Onduparaka in the league.

Sam Ssimbwa on winning the Coach of the month award.

Cromwell Rwothomio scored four goals in as many matches in January, scoring a brace against BUL, ta sole strike against Bright Stars and one against defending champions KCCA FC. He beat teammate Saidi Kyeyune and Police’s forward Ben Ochen.
