Politician cum singer Judith Babirye's love life went into tatters after divorcing for a second time in a row after court confirming that she took 7 months without giving her husband Paul Musoke Ssebulime some sumbie.

The Buikwe Member of Parliament and singer called it quits with fellow legislator and husband Musoke Sebulime after court granted them the greenlight to divorce and the latter kick start up afresh romantically.

This followed Lady Justice Olive Kazaarwe Mukwaya of the family division of the High Court ruling giving Hon. Musoke the greenlight to dump Babirye and live with another woman after registering a successful petition about Babirye's failure to show utmost commitment for the lasting foundation of their marriage.

“There is no evidence of the respondents (Babirye) participation in efforts to reconcile with her husband. The petitioner did not know of his wife’s whereabouts for seven months that he waited before filing thus petition. I am therefore satisfied that the petitioner has proved that this marriage should be dissolved on grounds of cruelty,” Lady Justice Mukwaya ruled.

The development came just after three years ever since the 'Yesu beera nange' singer in January 2017, divorced her then husband called Niiwo with whom they had one daughter between them.

It must be remembered that in July 2018, Babirye and Musoke tied the knot in a colourful ceremony that was held in Bunga, Kampala district amidst pomp and fanfare.

However, their relationship started fading up like the evening sun last year when Babirye’s husband, Musoke petitioned the high court family court to end his marriage accusing his wife of subjecting him to psychological torture after spending over a year minus enjoying his conjugal rights among his many complaints.

Hon. Judith Babirye is yet to respond to this development.

We shall keep you posted.
