The StarTimes Uganda Premier League match day 17 has been concluded today Wednesday 15th, January 2020 with four fixtures producing 14 goals.

Most shocking was a 6:1 thrashing of George Ssimwogerere's Express FC by Abdullah Mubiru's Police FC.

Express' consolation came one minute to full time but was worthless as the Red Eagles succumbed to the heaviest defeat of the season. The result put the Cops in 11th position on 18 points from 6 wins, 3 draws and 8 losses.

BUL FC playing at home at Njeru Technical center succumbed to a 3:1 loss to visitors URA FC. Saidi Kyeyune 25' and a brace from Cromwell Rwothomio 46' and 87' handed Sam Ssimbwa's side a comfortable win. Hamis Tibita won a consolation for Peter Onen's BUL FC who lost a second match in succession in the second round, having lost only two in the first round (15 matches).

Wakiso Giants' Charles Livingstone Mbabazi lost his second consecutive match at the helm the Purple Sharks with a 1:0 loss away to Mbarara city at Bombo Military grounds.

Brian Aheebwa scored the match's only goal in the 80th minute to hand the "Ankole Lions" their first win of the second round having lost 1:0 to KCCA FC in their second round's opener.

Relegation threatened Tooro United were held to a one all draw by Kyeyune in Jinja.
