Singer Big Size Bebe Cool has finally eaten his words and endorsed the local music music awards with just two years when he announced quitting the awards because of personal reasons.
It must be remembered that in 2017, the Gagamel Music Band CEO announced how he was not interested to be part of the local music awards and actually requested to be pulled out of any nominations on the local basis.
However, the 'Katono' singer had to endorse the local music awards once again since his withdraw from the local awards after accepting the Best Video of The Year Award at the Buzz Teeniez Award thereby leaving revelers speechless.
He could go on to give sounding reasons as to why he had to reverse his past decision of withdrawing from local awards given the fact that the awards inspire artists to work hard as well as young ones who are meant to take over there places.
"I was given an award that i accepted after a long time since my withdrawal from locally organised music awards in UGANDA. These awards are mainly a choice of the youth who vote for exemplary work. The youth have always been great supporters of my music..
Last weekend they awarded Wire Wire for Best Video of year at the Buzz Teeniez Awards. What good is there in us investing a lot and working hard if not to inspire the young ones that are destined to take our places. The teenagers’ love is unconditional, they give love and credit where it’s due.
I am grateful for this recognition and pledge to keep the fire burning," Bebe Cool.
