MUBS Come from Behind to beat Kyambogo and Maintain Unbeaten

Sharif Ssengendo and Benjamin Nazar scored in the 86th and 90th minute respectively as Makerere University Business School came from a goal down to edge Kyambogo University 2-1 in the first leg of the 2022 Pepsi University Football League quarterfinals.

In the Tuesday bout played at Kyambogo Grounds, the hosts scored first through Joram Lakba's 44th-minute goal.

The victory meant that MUBS continued its unbeaten run against Kyambogo and as well its 100% winning record this season.

This is also the first time MUBS is winning at Kyambogo's territory having drawn the previous two times they have visited Banda.

The two sides will meet again on Tuesday, 11th October 2022 at Nakawa for the second leg.
