The Lugogo Derby to conclude the season's first round with Proline and KCCA FC

The Star Times Uganda Premier League season's first round ends today with a Lugogo Derby between Home side Proline and KCCA FC at Star Times Stadium Lugogo.

KCCA are second on the table with 29 points from 9 wins, 2 draws and 3 losses from 14 matches. The Kasasiro boys can put a three points gap over BUL FC who they are tied on 29 points and also reduce Vipers' five points lead to two points.

The Mike Mutebi Charges have won two of their last three matches scoring ten goals and conceding five winning their most recent match 4:1 against SC Villa.

Proline FC are at the bottom of the table with 9 points and a win can lift them a slot up or two slots if they manage a three goal margin win. However, they are guaranteed to finishing the season's first round in relegation zone because they need five points to move out of relegation zone but with one match to end the first round.

Proline will miss the services of Begisa James, Wamanah Ibrahim, Muwanga Bernard and Matovu Hassan because they are all on loan from KCCA FC.

The other players to be missed include: Saka Mpiima and Yaya Mahad due to injuries. However, they are boosted by the return to squad of Mukisa Yusuf, Mujuzi Mustafa and Bright Anukani.

Gift Ali and Charles Lukwago will be facing former employers whereas Jurua Hassan, Sadam Juma, Peter Magambo, Jackson Nunda and Sadat Anaku are ruled out through injury.

The last 12 encounters between KCCA FC and Proline FC have seen the former win seven with the latter winning three and two draws.
