League debutants Wakiso Giants have today 29th November, 2019 announced the appointment of tactician Charles Love Livingstone Mbabazi. Livingstone Mbabazi who has recently been at Onduparaka for two spells joins the Purple Sharks to replace Kefa Kisala.
Here is part of the statement released by the Wakiso Giants; 'We are delighted to announce the appointment of Livingstone Mbabazi as Head Coach on a contract that runs until the end of the 2022/23 season."
Club CEO Sula Kamoga said: - “In Mbabazi, we have one of the best coaches around who is truly passionate about the game. He is a great tactician and has the experience to steer the club in the direction of our ambitions and we believe he will bring the desired energy and belief to the dressing room and the entire club as well.”
Mbabazi takes over Wakiso Giants a side that finished 7th in the table at the end of the season's first round with 20 points from 6 wins, 2 draws and 7 losses in 15 matches.
