Taking it to his social media platforms, the ” Banana” hit maker posted and revealed that he was released from Prison in Saudi Arabia on Thursday evening.
It is alleged that Gaza was arrested on Tuesday by Saudi authorities shortly after landing in the Gulf country where he had a Tourist Visa but instead went to perform at a music concert.
Now he has spoken out and revealed how he has been released.
"Am now free, Thanks to everyone who worked so hard to get me out of jail. Thanks everyone Thanks Ugandans for loving me, Your love means the world to me."- he posted.
In a statement issued on Thursday, UMA expressed concerns about Gaza’s arrest and asked Saudi authorities to release the singer.
“We are deeply concerned about Mr Gaza’s well-being and urge the Saudi authorities to swifly resolve this matter and ensure his safe return home,” UMA stated.
Gaza, started his professional music career in 2018, and has since grown into one of the forces to reckon with in the Ugandan music industry.
