Hailing from Kazo in the Kawempe division of Kampala, Joshua Baraka has emerged as a multifaceted artist, showcasing his prowess as a songwriter, producer, instrumentalist, and musician. Despite the dominance of Luganda-speaking artists in the industry, Baraka has carved out his niche by delivering performances predominantly in English, captivating audiences with his unique style.
His musical journey traces back to his formative years at Makerere College School and Kitante Primary School. However, it was during his time at A-Level in Mengo Senior Secondary School that Baraka's passion for music production truly blossomed. Balancing his academic pursuits with burgeoning musical ambitions proved challenging, as he increasingly dedicated himself to piano gigs, resulting in a decline in school attendance and grades.
Now he feels like he is ready to stage his own music concert.
