Singer Jose Chameleone has broken his silence following the viral videos of his younger brother, Weasel Manizo, emotionally pleading to return home from the United States.
During a phone interview with Dagy Nyce, Chameleone acknowledged that Weasel’s frustration stems from homesickness and a deep longing to see his children.
“He’s homesick and wants to see his family,” Chameleone said, revealing that Weasel has been struggling emotionally over the past week.
Chameleone, who is currently in the U.S. for medical treatment, confirmed that he has already spoken to their family in Uganda about the situation.
“I spoke to my family and told them if it’s possible, he returns to Uganda and sees his family. I don’t complain—he has done a good job. If he misses his family, maybe it’s high time he goes back,” he added.
Despite the tension surrounding Weasel’s stay, Chameleone reassured fans that his own recovery is going well, stating that he is halfway through his treatment and optimistic about his progress.
