After over ten years in the music industry, singer Alexander Bagonza, famously known as A Pass, is set to host his maiden concert at the Kampala Serena Hotel on January 31, 2025. Dubbed A Pass Live in Concert, the much-anticipated event promises to be a celebration of music, talent, and memories.
Speaking at a press conference that was held today, on Thursday, January 16, A Pass reflected on his decade-long music journey.
"The journey has been crazy. I started in a very small studio, the size of a kitchen, in 2013. But with all the hard work I put in and my humility, I was destined for greatness," A Pass shared.
“We’ve done all the work in the studio, but the stage is left,” he added, revealing that he began rehearsals as early as November to perfect his act.

The Gamululu singer also also took time to honor his industry mentors, including Bebe Cool, Bobi Wine, Chameleone, and Silver Kyagulanyi, for their invaluable guidance.
A special nod went to Beenie Gunter, his longtime friend and collaborator, as well as Elijah Kitaka, who recently worked with him on a hit song.
Fans can expect to enjoy timeless classics such as Tuli Kubigere, Didadada, Wuuyo, Chupa ku Chupa, Gamululu, and Memories during the performance. With Fenon Events handling production, A Pass assured fans that the concert would not just be a show but a full-fledged experience.
"Serena is not just a venue but an experience," he emphasized, noting that the concert is a tribute to his fans, who have been the backbone of his career.
