State Minister for Minerals, Phiona Nyamutoro, has come out and shared the romantic story of how her relationship with award-winning artist Eddy Kenzo began, how he prayed to God and cried everyone to get a woman like him.
Speaking at the #RiotYouth2024 conference at Pastor Kanyanja’s church, she revealed that Kenzo proposed to her the very first day they met—a gesture she described as both bold and unexpected.
“By that time, I wasn’t yet a minister or an MP,” Phiona recounted. “I don’t know whether he was such a risk-taker to tell someone he barely knows that he wants to marry them. And confidently, he said he had never asked any woman to marry him before.”
Phiona highlighted their love story as part of a divine plan and expressed her commitment to building a lasting marriage with Kenzo.
The couple is now officially engaged and shares a son together, symbolizing their strong bond and shared future.
