Swangz Avenue’s Veronica Lugya, aka Vinka, has finally opened up and addressed the swirling rumors about her allegedly expecting a second child after being spotted at Roast and Rhyme.
The gossip started after fans spotted her at the recent Roast & Rhymes show, dancing in a fitted dress that showed a slight tummy bulge. Known for her signature slim figure, fans quickly speculated on social media that the singer might be pregnant again.
At the Swangz Avenue All-Star Album launch, Vinka seized the chance to clarify things. Speaking to Spark TV, she playfully lifted her cropped grey suit to show her flat stomach, humorously challenging her fans: “You people claimed I was pregnant, where is the bump?” This playful response highlighted her confidence and signaled that she's in no rush for another child.
Vinka further explained in a recent interview that she's content with her current pace as a mother, stating, "No one sent me to have her; I decided that for myself. When the time comes for me to have a second one, I will. I’m not under any pressure.”
The singer famously surprised her followers on Valentine’s Day in 2021 by revealing her first baby’s birth after keeping her pregnancy under wraps, later unveiling her husband, Nelly Witta, in a surprise wedding photo.
For now, Vinka’s focus remains on her music career with Swangz Avenue, leaving fans to enjoy her journey without reading too much into the rumors.
