In a respectful way to a beloved figure in both politics and entertainment, singer Alfa Sebunya, widely known as Mudra, has announced the postponement of his highly anticipated debut concert that was scheduled for August 30th at Zoe Grounds in Lugogo.

This decision comes in the wake of the passing of Joseph Tamale Mirundi, the renowned political commentator and former presidential advisor.

Tamale Mirundi, who passed away on Tuesday night due to lung-related complications at Kisubi Hospital in Kampala, was not only a political heavyweight but also a notable supporter and commentator in the entertainment industry.

Mudra has decided to delay the event out of respect for Mirundi’s memory. The press conference initially set for August 14th to promote the concert has also been postponed.

Mudra shared his decision on X (formerly Twitter), stating: “We’ve received the news of the demise of Mr. Tamale Mirundi senior. In honor of his memory, we have decided to postpone our press conference until further notice. Thank you for your understanding. RIP.”

The postponement is a significant move for Mudra, as this concert marks a major milestone in his career. It reflects not only his respect for Mirundi but also the broader impact of Mirundi’s influence on the entertainment community.
