Uganda Police has made fresh changes in it’s leadership team and among thise replaced is the spokesperson, Fred Enanga whose role has now been taken over by Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) Kituuma Rusoke.
According to latest reports from the Police, Kituuma Rusoke who also previously headed the Kampala Capital City Authority ( KCCA ) law enforcement team is now the official spokesperson and has already taken over the office.
The new changes by Inspector General of Police, Abas Byakagaba have seen Kituuma Rusoke being appointed as the Police mouthpiece have also seen Fred Enanga sent to Interpol as the new deputy director.
Engaga served in various police departments including lands, Enanga was first appointed as spokesperson in 2014 to replace Judith Nabakooba by Gen Kale Kayihura who was also later dropped and Emilian Kayima appointed the new spokesperson.
However, in 2019, John Martins Okoth Ochola reappointed Enanga as police spokesperson and has since then never looked back.
