According to a video clip seen by Blizz Uganda, there seemed to be a heated dispute between Red Banton and one of the revelers whose name is still unknown.
But as different artistes stepped on stage to showcase their talents, Red Banton, fueled by anger or frustration, descended from the elevated platform and made his way toward the individual who seemed to have provoked him.
The exact cause of the altercation remains unknown but things were later cooled off by Eddy Kenzo, the UNMF president.
Some suggested that the audience member may have made derogatory remarks or gestures towards Red Banton, while others believed it could have been a misunderstanding or a clash of personalities.
