After years of bitter rivalry, Tanzanian music sensations Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize have finally put an end to their feud, marking a significant milestone in the East African music scene.
The discord between the two stars ignited when Harmonize parted ways with Diamond Platnumz's WCB Wasafi label, citing mistreatment, and established his own imprint, Konde Gang. Despite the financial hurdle of at least TSh21 million to terminate his contract, Harmonize remained adamant, exacerbating tensions between him and Diamond Platnumz.
Efforts at reconciliation had previously faltered until Tanzanian President Samia Hassan intervened, orchestrating a special Iftar dinner at the State House in Dar Es Salaam, where the two musicians reconciled.
The event witnessed heartening scenes as Diamond and Harmonize shared jovial moments and exchanged handshakes, much to the delight of their fans and the wider music community.
Now, with their past differences set aside, Diamond Platnumz and Harmonize are gearing up to collaborate on new projects aimed at propelling Tanzanian music to unprecedented heights.
In a symbolic display of their renewed camaraderie, both artists have taken to their Instagram stories to share snapshots of their reunion, signaling a new chapter in their relationship and inspiring hope for the future of Tanzanian music.
