South Africa-based Ugandan businesswoman and socialite Zari Hassan fell victim to a brazen burglary at her residence in Munyonyo, Uganda on Wednesday night when the she was away from home, leaving her armed guard with deep cuts on his head at the hands of ruthless intruders.
Zari Hassan disclosed that the daring thugs forcibly entered her residence, overpowering and brutalizing her security personnel before making away with a treasure trove of valuables estimated to be worth millions of shillings. The thieves, not content with their loot, interrogated Zari's family members about specific items and even attempted to make off with her cars.
"They tied my security guard up and took a lot of stuff from the house. They literally butchered him, sliced his ear off, and cut through his head…he was badly, brutally butchered. They got into the house, woke my family members up asking 'where’s this, where’s that' and managed to get away with quite a lot of things," revealed Zari Hassan via Snapchat.

The courageous socialite recounted the harrowing details of the incident and emphasized the trauma inflicted upon her family. Fortunately, her family members were not physically harmed, but the psychological toll lingers.
Zari, who has been in Uganda for several weeks, has now embarked on a mission to apprehend the culprits and bring them to justice. She is collaborating closely with the Uganda Police to expedite the investigation, especially since a firearm was stolen during the robbery.
