The Kasasiro boys were on 27th October, 2019 in action in Africa's second most prestigious club trophy, the CAF Confederation Cup.
KCCA FC playing at home at the Star Times Stadium Lugogo, played to a barren draw with Algeria's Paradou A.C after squandering many goal scoring opportunities by Mike Mutyaba, Allan Okello, Gift Ali and Sadat Anaku all missing out on handing the home side a win.
KCCA FC who dropped from CAF Champions league will now need a draw of any score in Algiers or to win to advance to the group stages.
The Kasasiro boys brought on Sadat Anaku in the 60th minute for Gift Ali whereas Muzamir Mutyaba paved way for Steven Sserwadda in the 74th minute but all yielded no goals. KCCA FC also handed a first start to left footed defender Hassan Musana and had a nice display on the day.
The return leg is scheduled for 3rd November, 2019 next weekend in Algeria's capital Algiers. The aggregate winner of the two legs will advance to the groups stages of CAF Confederation Cup where a club is guaranteed of at least $275,000 prize money.
