Ugandan Climate activist and Cosomedia journalist, Kaggwa Aloysius has called upon fellow journalists to join him plant trees and fight ongoing harsh climate change.

In a world where it's difficult to find people passionate about protecting their planet, Kaggwa has stood out because of his rare drive to fight global warming, protect the ozone layer and advocate for effective climate change.

Kaggwa Aloysius is well known for his simple trait of not being a big talker like most activists but an action man.

He practically goes out of his way and does what needs to be done to make this world a better place. You may find it surprising but every other month Kaggwa personally plants a tree in a different part of the country.

He has been reported to have planted trees in Masaka, Luwero and in his gardens in Wakiso Because the climate change fight is one where its strength lies in numbers, he goes ahead to mobilise his fellow journalists to join his tree-growing campaign in a bid to reduce the greenhouse effect on the ozone layer that is being destroyed at a fast rate.

His campaign to grow trees in almost every part of the country is a way to fight the growing threat of desertification in the country.

His fight to conserve the environment is one of passion and stride as he encourages his colleagues to join him to make an impactful change in our environment for the greater good and to make a change one day at a time.
