Buganda Kingdom has come out and distanced themselves from the twins Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi's wife, Nabagereka Sylvia Nagginda revealed in her memoir that will be released on March 23th 2023, they have claims that the King is not the father, something that has shocked many.

According to a Friday statement released by the Kingdom, Daudi Chwa was the last king to sire twins who were called Kalemera and Kiggala and they were born in 1925.

They also went ahead and said that the Kabaka and his wives are free to raise children in the palace despite their origin as long as the Kabaka agrees to it.

The statement also says that these children can call the Kabaka their father and they can also call his wives their mothers.

But the children can not be taken through traditional rituals or be introduced to the kingdom as princes and princesses.

The memoir, which is titled ‘The Nnaabagereka of Buganda Queen Sylvia Nagginda Luswata’ will be released on March 23.

Nagginda got married to Kabaka Ronald Muwenda Mutebi in a wedding held at Namirembe Cathedral on August 27, 1999 and their first child together is Katrina-Sarah Ssangalyambogo, who was born on July 4, 2001, in London. Their other children are Prince Junju Kiweewa, Princess Joan Nassolo, Princess Victoria Nkinzi, and Prince Richard Semakokiro, born in 2009.
