Singer Hajarah Namukwaya aka Spice Diana, has opened up about another yet embarrassing moment from the early days of her music career when she bought fake hips and bums to impress fans on stage but instead, one fell out leaving her out of shape.
As she prepares to celebrate a decade in the industry with her highly anticipated concert on January 10, 2025, at Serena Hotel Kampala, the "Star Gal" took a trip down memory lane.
In an interview with Doreen Nasasira and Bina Babie, the singer recounted her first major concert in February 2018 at Front Page in Namasuba. Though the event marked a significant milestone in her career, it was marred by an unforgettable wardrobe malfunction.
Spice Diana revealed that she had used fake hips to enhance her look during the performance. However, when she was lifted into the air mid-performance, the faux enhancements shifted out of place. This left her embarrassed, but it also became a turning point for her style choices. "It was so embarrassing that I pledged never to wear them again," she admitted.
Since then, Spice Diana has consistently been recognized as a Ugandan style icon, embracing authenticity and using her fashion to complement her artistic expression
