Former FDC President Dr Kifefe Kizza Besigye has come out and claimed that former minister Hajji Abdul Nadduli’s son Jakana Nadduli death cannot be separated from his past "torture". " Those who kidnap, illegally detain, torture & kill Ugandans must answer for their heinous crimes."
While speaking on NTV’s morning show on Monday, Besigye said, “It (Jakana’s death) has to be related to the torture he went through.”
Nadduli, 37, has been announced dead on Monday morning after he had just been released from detention where he was allegedly mistreated prior to being charged in the Luwero magistrates court for promotion of sectarianism.
He is said to have made statements on his social media handles that may not have gone well with several senior leaders in the country.
Besigye also went to his Twitter and added;
" Those who kidnap, illegally detain, torture & kill Ugandans must answer for their heinous crimes. Any “suspect” must be lawfully managed. They must know that the long arm of justice will catch up with them- soon or later! That’s why.. Tuzukuke, Tweggate, Tulumbe, Twetaase! "
