Nkumba University play a goalless stalemate with UCU quarter finals first leg

Defending champions Uganda Christian University were held to a goalless draw today Thursday by Nkumba University in the first leg of their Pepsi University Football League quarter final tie played in Entebbe.

None of the two sides could break the deadlock on the day and the chances were few and far between.

The result means that there is all to play for when UCU hosts Nkumba in Mukono in a fortnight.

Kyambogo University versus Makerere University Business School is the only remaining fixture in the first leg of this year's quarterfinals and the two neighbours tussle it out next week on Tuesday 29th September 2022 at Kyambogo.
