Famed singer Edirisa Musuuza alias Eddy Kenzo seems to have gotten a sigh of relief as President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni is considering airlifting Ugandans that are stranded abroad.

Its coming to a month ever since the multi award winning artiste was trapped up in the West African country of Ivory Coast flowing President Museveni's ban on incoming and outgoing flights at Entebbe International Airport as one of the drastic measures that was put to control the spread of the pandemic in the country.

While responding to concerns during his Tuesday national address in regards to Ugandans that were caught up by the coronavirus pandemic in China and other countries and no longer have resources to sustain themselves, the president has directed the prime minister Ruhakana Rugunda and Foreign Affairs minister Hon. Sam Kutesa to come up with an evacuation plan of some Ugandans stuck abroad.

"I will talk to the minister of foreign affairs to get in touch with them to see what plans we can work out; we can airlift them and put them under quarantine. If it can be done safely, we can airlift them, because they are known; its just a question of money," said Museveni.

It must be remembered that Ivorian football star, Didier Drogba way back had offered to give Eddy Kenzo his plane to safely bring him back home in Uganda.
