Uganda Premier League entity, Onduparaka FC confirmed Haruna Mawa as their new head coach as the league draws nearer but do you even know why?
The club confirmed the tactician will take on the reigns at the Arua based side for a one year contract.
Mawa has among other teams coached Victoria university, Dove all stars currently known as Arua Hill SC, Somalia National team and the Uganda U-20 team.
“Onduparaka Football Club would like to announce the appointment CAF A certified Haruna Mawa as Head Coach on one year renewable contract.
He previously managed teams like Doves All Stars, Somalia National Team, Uganda 🇺🇬 U20, KCCA FC Junior Team, Defunct SC Victoria University among others.” a club statement read.
Onduparaka were under George Lutalo until the mid of last season when the two parties parted ways following un coming results. The club named his immediate assistant Bosco Dudu who guided the club to a 10th position finish last season.
The Uganda Premier League is unless otherwise scheduled to start on 30th July, 2022.
