Eddie Dee, singer Pallaso's main producer is currently enduring cold nights on the verandah with wife after being kicked out of his rental for defaulting his landlord's 7months rent arrears.
Eddie Dee is one of the most prominent producers in Uganda at the moment thanks to his talent and deep understanding of music.
He is no stranger in the industry as he has been around for close to 6 years now. His major breakthrough came in 2016 when he produced Pallaso's viral 'Happy Birthday' jam.
He is the brains behind Pallaso’s trending hits including; ‘Ndi Kuwaki’, 'Malamu' andhis latest hit 'What is money'.
In an exclusive interview with a local TV in town, the tearly music producer frankly opened up in the cameras how things aren't moving on well no wonder he has failed to make ends meet with his landlord.
He says despite hustling on a daily in studios, he has previously failed to collect enough since even the clients cannot recognise his sweat after making it to the top.
"For the past months, we don't earn as we used to do from music production. Artistes approach us on a bargaining basis and fail to recognise our efforts after hitting the limelight," Eddie Dee.
According to Mr Lubwama Robert, Eddie Dee's landlord, he has waited for long until time reached when he couldn't wait anymore given the various demands choking on him from family and in-laws.
He says Eddie Dee should liaise with his clients mention musicians Pallaso, Feffe Buusi, Ziza Bafana among others to help him raise his shs4million rent arrears or else he won't step a foot again in his rentals.
Apart from Pallaso, Eddie Dee has produced songs like Spice Diana's Tokombako, Reign and Maulana's Nyoko, Feffe Buusi's Amin Dada and Super Lady, Weasel's Bwobayo and Da Agent's Bamungamba among others.
