Ismail Tamubula 68" and Eric Ngeywa 74" were on target as Islamic University in Uganda (IUIU) visited and beat Busitema University 2:0.
Islamic University in Uganda have qualified for the quarter finals of the Pepsi University Football League after a 2-0 win over Busitema University that saw them stay top of Group F with 9pts from 4 games while Bugema are second with 4pts from 3 games.
However, their qualification depends on what will come out from the hearing of their case with the Disciplinary Committee over alleged use of ineligible players.
It therefore leaves MUBs University as the only fully qualified side for the quarter finals of the Pepsi Uganda University football league with defending champions UCU only one foot in the knockout stage.
Kumi also has a pending case in the Disciplinary Committee over alleged use of ineligible players.
Action in the Uganda University football league will resume on Tuesday 21st June as Gulu University visits Kampala University and Uganda Martyrs University will host Ndejje at 3pm.
