Bishop Stuart University Sees Off Kyambogo University with a 1:0 Win in University Football League

Honest Atwijukire was the player on target as Bishop Stuart University (BSU) edged Kyambogo University 1-0 in the 2022 Pepsi University Football League today Friday in Mbarara.

Atwijukire scored the only goal of the game in the 58th minute hence taking BSU top of Group C with 7pts after 3 games.

After the same number of games, Kyambogo dropped to second place with 4pts while Kabale University stayed bottom with a single point but with a game in hand.

BSU was revenging Kyambogo given that the former lost 3-0 to the latter in the corresponding fixture played in Kampala.

The Pepsi University Football League will continue on Saturday with a Group A fixture between Victoria University and the International University of East Africa in Kabojja at 3pm.
