Uganda Cup: Vipers SC Takes a 2:1 First Leg Advantage in Semi Finals Against Mbarara City

Vipers SC edged Mbarara City FC 1-2 today 11th May in the first leg of their Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup semi-final tie played at Kakyeka Stadium in Mbarara.

Home boy Mucurezi Paul gave visitors Vipers SC the lead in the 40th minute before Karisa Milton doubled it in the 45th minute to lead 0-2 at half time.

Vipers SC should have extended the lead in the second half but it was Mbarara City FC who scored with Arigumaho Seiri pulling one back in the 82" for the game to end 1-2.

The second legs of the Stanbic Bank Uganda Cup semi-finals will be played next week with Bul FC hosting Booma FC on Tuesday 17th May in Jinja (BUL lead the tie 5-1) and Vipers SC hosting Mbarara City FC at Kitende.
