Mohammad Shaban again found the back of the net as Onduparaka FC edged SC Villa with a 1:0 score and took his goals tally for the season to 12.
The returnee boy Shaban continued his scoring form in the 39th minute to score the only match’s goal and continue his quest for a top scorer’s gong this season.
The win took the Arua side to 8th position on 30 points from 24 matches remaining with 6 matches to end the season whereas SC Villa are now 12th on table with 25 points and only a point above relegation with only five match remaining to end the season.
At Gaddafi Arena in Jinja, home side Gaddafi FC fell to a 2:0 loss to Bul FC. Thanks to goals from Hillary Onek 13' and Jerome Kirya’s 79th minute goal sealed the win for the oil makers. Jeremy Kirya was also named man of the match and pocketed 100,000/- from Pilsner lager.
The win took Bul FC to third position with 44 points displacing URA FC who fell to fourth position on 43 points. Bul FC are now two points less of KCCA FC who stand second on a sixteen team log.
