The beauty queen from Busoga region, Phiona Kyeru was crowned the new Miss Tourism Uganda 2019.
The ceremony for crowning the new Miss Tourism Uganda took place at the Kampala Serena Hotel and Busoga proved to have more beauties than most people expected as. Phiona Kyeru emerged the winner.
The ceremony had a number of contestants but Kyeru managed to beat 22 other contestants to the crown after a tightly contested race that took several months.
She walked away with a land title, a brand new car and Agwang Prossy from Teso emerged as the first runner up and Jean Corprise Akullo from Karamoja was the second runner up in a colorful ceremony.
