Radio Simba’s Simon Peter Ndawula alias Omulangira Ndausi spent Monday night in the coolers of Central Police Station, CPS Kampala over fraud.
The celebrated veteran radio host is being accused of extortion by a number of youth who he hoodwinked thereby defrauding them millions of shillings as he promised them juicy jobs in the United States of America.
Through capitalising on his huge influence, the 'Bisangawano' morning radio show host reportedly went on to extort from his victims shillings worth 10 to 15 million so as to take them for greener pastures in USA.
After a lengthy plea agreement with his indebtors, Ndausi has however been released on Tuesday on police bail after promising to clear his debts.
