The Speaker of Parliament, Jacob Oulanyah was flown out to the United States for specialized medical treatment after being hospitalized at Nakasero for a number of days.
Oulanya was admitted at Nakasero hospital while in a critical condition and he spent there three days without eating as he had a swelling that handicapped his food and water intake for a number of days.
We can now reveal that Oulanyah arrived in the Washington State’s largest city of Seattle on Friday aboard a chartered Uganda Airlines flight UR 2, plane registration number 5x-NIL.
“The Speaker has safely arrived in the United States. Reached Washington on Friday,” said a source in Government.
During a recent Cabinet meeting, President Museveni directed Health Minister Ruth Aceng to take more interest in Oulanya’s condition and ensure he gets adequate medical attention.
