All the traditional big three teams of the Uganda Premier League have on match day seven won their games. SC Villa beat Onduparaka 2:1, KCCA FC beat Arua Hill FC 1:0 where Express FC beat Wakiso Giants 1:0.
SC Villa got maximum points for the first time under new club president Hajji Omar Ahmed Mandela following a draw against Express and the recent 2:1 loss against Bul FC in their last match.
SC Villa came a goal down to win with goals from Salim Abdullah and Isaac Ogwang securing all points fir the Joggos whereas Muhammad Shaban scored for the 'Caterpillars'. It was Shaban's first goal for Onduparaka, a side he joined for a second stint at the start of this season.
Davis Kasirye floated high in the air to nod KCCA FC in front off a flawless ball from Mato Rogers in the 37th minute. KCCA FC are now too of the table with 19 points, six ahead of Vipers though with two more games for the latter.
Express FC won 1:0 courtesy of a strike from Eric 'Kenzo' Kambale who is on a three man list of the best male player of the year 2021. The win put the defending champions in a 6th position with 11 points.
