Veteran Singer and Politician Daniel Kazibwe alias Ragga Dee has urged musicians to join up Saccos for the development of the entertainment industry.
The Singer who is also the Chairperson of the Uganda National Cultural Forum (UNCF)has denied scheming Government money, he says their main aim is to clean the entertainment sector.
"We are not giving out individual money to people, we are giving out money to well organized groups and it's by cheque not by cash. We gave money to Some of the well organized groups like the Djs, the audio producers and some musicians under UMA got some money" he said.
"I am not speaking out for people but instead am speaking as the Chairperson for the Uganda National Cultural Forum and my Task is to see that I've banked all the cheques that I've given out to the people today. I have to make sure that all the accounts are fully balanced and not any one to tell me that he or she didn't receive the money."- He futher added that he works hand in hand with UNCC and the ministry of Gender and that when they happen to invite him for any meeting he is always ready.
