Members of Parliament Muhammad Ssegirinya and Ssewanyana have been denied bail by Masaka High Court from where they are facing Murder, Terrorism and Attempted Murder charges.
The two were seeking to be released on bail again after they were rearrested early this month on the same charges.
High Court Judge, Justice Lawrence Tweyanze in his ruling on Monday Morning, denied bail to the MPs on grounds that they were a flight risk and could disrupt the ongoing investigations.
The judge, citing pleadings from the State Prosecution, noted that it had been duly proven that the suspects were likely to interfere with the ongoing investigations and probably abscond from court once released on bail.
