Mbarara City FC Releases Squad For Season 2021/2022

After announcing new coach Hussein Mbalangu recently, Mbarara City FC have today Monday 11th October,2021 confirmed their new squad ahead of the 2021/2022 season.

Mbarara City opens their new season with a home tie against Soltilo Bright Stars on Friday 15th 2021 before making a trip to Tooro United on 23rd October for a second match at a play ground yet to be communicated.

In the third match, the "Ankole Lions" will play away to UPDF FC at a stadium that is also yet to be identified with a fourth match, a home tie against league debutants Arua Hills FC at Kakyeka Stadium on 30th October 2021.

The team signed former Kansai Plascon FC winger/forward Kalule Frank Muna, Central defender Okello Solomon formerly at Soroti FC, winger Nsubuga Sadat formerly at Mbarara FC, Kakaire Thomas, Arigumaho Seiri, midfielder Otude Ivan Donald whereas Makueth Wol extended his stay for another year.

It remains to be seen if the Additions including new coach Hussein Mbalangu will elevate the club's performance from last season's.
