Fahad Bayo On Target Again As Uganda Pushes For A First World Cup Appearance

Uganda Cranes completed a double over neighbors 'Amavubi stars' of Rwanda with a 1:0 win in a match played at St. Mary's Stadium Kitende, Kampala-Uganda.

Fahad Bayo in the 21st minute did the same as in a 1:0 win against the same side two days ago when he also netted to give Uganda the first win of the qualification and here again gave Uganda the second win.

Uganda Cranes still stand second on the group E table with 8 points, two less of leaders Mali who beat Kenya 1:0 in their fourth match on the same day.

Uganda Cranes is yet to conceed a goal in these qualifiers, drawing goalless their two opening matches against Rwanda and Mali before winning home and away to Rwanda.

Uganda will need to win both of it's two remaining qualification matches away to Mali and at home to neighbors Kenya to ensure they make the last/third round of qualification for the Qatar World Cup 2022.

Uganda hosts its penultimate qualification match at St. Mary's Stadium Kitende against neighbors Kenya on 11th November, 2021 with the last match of the second round qualification coming against Mali on 14th November,2021 in in Mali.

Group winners of the ten groups will advance to the third round of qualification, drawn against each with five winners qualifying for world as Africa's representatives.
