Legendary musician and former Lord Mayor aspirant Kampala City Daniel Kazibwe aka Ragga Dee has come out about Gen Salim Saleh’s letter that stopped artistes from travelling to Gulu.

The Operation Wealth Creation (OWC) through it's Coordinator Gen Salim Saleh recently issued a letter blocking musicians from travelling to Gulu without his appointment.

However, Ragga Dee one of the artists that have always been there has come out and revealed that the letter isn’t to block musicians from travelling to Gulu.

"The letter was instead issued to hotel owners in the city and it was to instruct them to stop hosting artists claiming that the General will incur the fees of their welfare and stay, The General cannot block people from accessing him because they are the ones he’s working for," revealed the Singer.

"Some musicians are just selfish and they've got ill-manners of wanting to use other people’s businesses for free", Ragga Dee narrated.

"People misinterpret the Gulu story, Not knowing that you only go to Gulu on the official invitation of the General. The selfish and greedy artists thought that there is money and that’s why they went there minus invitation,” he added.

On releasing the document, the UMA president Cindy Sanyu welcomed the move and said that the action of artists heading to Gulu without invitation had weakened the UMA umbrella yet it's there to represent them in general.

Recently they chased some musicians Ziza Bafana inclusive from Gulu as they tried to meet General Saleh.
