Local songstress Stabua Natooro has resorted to mushroom growing as the only way of alleviating poverty.

Following several failed attempts to make it to Gulu so as to harvest some cash from the Operation Wealth Creation boss, Gen. Salim Saleh, the "Bajja kukakasa" singer has been all along cooking and finding ways of survival amidst the ongoing pandemic period that left stage performances closed to the creative industry.

Stabua has unveiled her new daily income profitable project while taking NBS UnCUt TV presenter Anna Talia Oze for a tour around her mushroom garden.

In addition to the availability of ready market within the community, Stabua Natooro is assertive that mushroom growing will make it easy for her to earn a living since it is done in an enclosure that doesn’t necessarily require huge land.
