Jinja based side Gaddafi FC will make their maiden appearance in the Star Times Uganda Premier League next season after they won the third promotional slot by beating Proline FC 2:0.
Steven Munguki gave the Jinja side the lead as early as in the 3rd minute before Mulimi sealed it with ten minutes to play.
Proline FC, the reigning Uganda Cup champions will now stay in the country's second division for a second successive season.
Gaddafi FC finished second in Elgon group as their opponent finished second in Rwenzori with both sides amassing 23 points. They (Gaddafi) now join already qualified side Arua Hills FC and Tooro United FC.
Tooro United directly qualifed to the first division after finishing top of the Rwenzori group with 27 points whereas Arua Hills who will also be making their debut season in the top finished top of Elgon group with 36 points.
