SC Villa Makes A Second Signing In 17 Year Old Isma Mugurusi

SC Villa have announced the signing of offensive Midfielder Isma Mugurusi who joins the league record champions (16X) from Jinja side Busoga United on a three year contract though the costs of the deal remain undisclosed.

Isma Mugurusi played an integral part as his side- Uganda Hippos finished second at the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations held in Mauritania between February and March this year.

Mugurusi won two man of the match accolades with Busoga United after four goals and two assists for the club.

At 17 years and eight months, Isma Musurusi is the youngest to make a Uganda national team debut. He made his national debt in a match that Uganda lost 3:2 to South Africa on 10th June, 2021.

He becomes Villa's second signing after the arrival of central defender Kenneth Ssemakula on a three year deal for BUL FC.
