Former Kamwokya based commercial Television, Record TV Uganda has rebranded to Tagy TV as it nears its relaunch.
A months ago, the longest-serving TV station in the country announced its closure due to the effects of the Covid-19 pandemic, thereby leaving over 50 jobless.
Now rumor has it bow the former Record TV was then bought by Pearl FM boss who is also the owner of Tagy Hotel in Kampala at a whooping Ugx 800M.
Veteran radio presenter Herbie Kay has been hired as the station manager of the new TV station dubbed Tagy TV Uganda. He is currently putting together a team that will commence work before November.
