Kathleen Noble Becomes the First Ugandan to Ever Qualify for Rowing at Olympics in Single Scull

Kathleen Grace Noble is a 26 year old Uganda Rower recognized as the first Ugandan to qualify for rowing at the Olympics in the Women's Single Scull. Here we tell you all we know about his record breaker.

Kathleen Grace Noble was born on 20th December,1994 in Kiwoko Hospital, in Luweero-Uganda. Her parents are Gery and Moira Noble.

She qualified for Olympics after clocking only 8 minutes and 36 seconds in the 2KM race in the single scull category during the Africa Rowing regatta held at Lake Tunis in Tunisia.

By clocking 8 minutes and 36 seconds, Noble finished number one in the B final and thus qualified for Olympics scheduled to take place from Friday 23rd July to Sunday 8th August,2021.

Noble participated in her first Rowing championship during the 2016 World Rowing U-23 event that took place inn Rotterdam, Holland
She was also part of a Uganda team that participated in the 2012 World Swimming Championship in Istanbul Turkey.

Grace Noble Kathleen and her coach Iqbal Ashan Successfully arrived in Japan a week ago and currently hosted at Narita Airport until their COVID-19 results return so as they proceed to the Olympics City for action.

Ugandans are looking forward to what Noble Kathleen will bring back on after her debut at Olympics.
