Next Media has bid farewell to its senior investigative journalist and news anchor Solomon Serwanjja. Serwanjja announced days ago how he will be leaving the Naguru based NBS Television station and put focus on his new role as the Executive Director of the African Institute of Investigative Journalism.

The NBS investigative journalist was showered with love last Thursday during the evening bulletin as the entire newsroom family joined him on the set to present him a cake appreciating the latter's commitment and dedication towards serving the media company affectionately.

Led by the head of the News Department at NBS TV Dalton Kaweesa, Serwanjja was surprised with a simple tribute of his previous on air works at Next Media and he has since penned a heartwarming message to his pay masters and viewers.

"Solomon Serwanjja: To the viewers, thank you for being with me throughout my 13 years on TV. Thank you for the support and for loving me. Today is the last day I will be in this chair as the host for the Media Round Table. It has been an honour to serve you. May God bless you all," Serwanjja stated on Friday morning while hosting last show on NBS TV.
