Kyagulanyi Robert Sentamu, the opposition National Unity Platform, NUP Party Principal has ensured his supporters that being arrested is no longer a punishment but a badge of honour leaving many confused.

This has been the revolutionary message from the former Presidential candidate to all forces of change most especially those in the struggle of attaining a peaceful political transfer of power in the Pearl of Africa.

By sharing a pictorial experience of his right hand men, singer Nubian Li and Eddie Mutwe in Kitalya Prison before receiving bail from the general court martial, Bobi Wine through his socials has assured revolutionists to expect such challenges such as imprisonment and torture among others in their quest for a peaceful political change of power in Uganda.

"Before victory is won, some will be imprisoned, others tortured and others murdered. But we rest in the confidence that all the suffering and pain at the hands of a despot are a seed that eventually germinates into freedom for oppressed people. As Dan Magic said after that prison experience, prison for political opponents is no longer a punishment, it is a badge of honour. We shall overcome!"- Bobi Wine.

It must be remembered that Bobi Wine's singing partner Ali Bukeni also known as Nubian Li, his bodyguard Eddy Ssebufu alias Eddie Mutwe, producer Daniel Brenny Oyerwot alias Dan Magic and 15 were a few days ago released on bail.

They were released on Monday by the General Court Marital chaired by Lt. Gen Andrew Gutti after spending six months on remand following their arrest in December last year in Kalangala where they had accompanied the National Unity Platform (NUP) president, Mr Kyagulanyi alias Bobi Wine, on a campaign trail.
