Jinja based side BUL FC have dented Proline's title defense hopes with a 2:0 win against the reigning and 2019 Uganda Cup champions.
Former SC Villa forward Vitalis Tabu got on BUL's score sheet in the sixth minute before Joseph Ssemujju doubled the lead in the 37th minute and BUL FC gallantly won away from home at MTN Omondi Stadium, Lugogo.
The match completed the first legs of the quarter finals. Vipers SC drew 1:1 with SC Villa, Express FC and KCCA FC drew goalless and on Thursday 28th, May 2021 Police FC visited and beaten Wakiso Giants 3:1.
Proline FC and BUL FC next face off in the second leg on Monday 31st May, 2021 with the aggregate winner progressing to the semi finals.
This year’s final of the Stanbic Uganda Cup will be hosted by Kitara Region Football Association at Masindi Municipal Stadium.
