SC Villa beat Kyetume FC 1:0 in one of the matches played on match day 26 on Saturday 23rd May,2021.

Mohammed Senoga scored the match's only goal with an assist from Masereka. SC Villa will have goalkeeper Martin Ssenkooto to praise after the young shot stopper denied Robert Seentongo an 88th minute equalizer from the penalty spot.

It was a sweet win for SC Villa who tussled it out with relegation tough fighting Kyetume at Bombo.

Fresh from a draw away at Lugogo against the Cops,the Joggos encountered a rejuvinated Kyetume side that beat title contenders URA to dent their title hopes and haul the tax collectors off the top of the log and helping the Mukono based side to reduce the gap to 3pts with Busoga utd in a bid to escape the drop.

It should also be remembered that Kyetume defeated Edward Kaziba's side at home in their inaugural season in what was Villa's opening home match of theseason at Nambole the other season.

But it an a day to remember for coach Edward Kaziba with the match his 50th league game since his appointment as head coach at SC Villa in August, 2021.

Elsewhere in the league, BUL FC beat Onduparaka 3:1, thanks to goals from Ojok 15', Semujju Joseph 45' (Pen), SimonPeter Oketch 75' with living Kabon scoring for the Caterpillars their consolation later on in the 80th minute.

In Mbarara at Kakyeka Stadium, Mbarara City FC beat Police FC 1:0 with Henry Kitegenyi scoring the vital goal for the "Ankole Lions".

Action resumes on Sunday 24th May with two fixtures, URA hosts UPDF and KCCA FC takes on Busoga United.
