National Unity Platform Spokesperson, Joel Besekezi Ssenyonyi has today achieved two enormous achievements; a graduation as a Lawyer from Makerere and a parliamentary swearing-in as Nakawa West Member of Parliament.
Joel Sseyonyi has been at law School for the past four years and today attained his Bachelors’ degree at the 71st Makerere University Graduation. Like most students, Ssenyonyi attended the ceremony virtually due to a limited number required physically in the freedom square.
“Today I’ve become a Lawyer after graduating from Makerere Law Sch. The 4 yrs were tough, having to juggle law school with many other aspects of my life, but God has been faithful. Later in the day I was sworn in as MP-Nakawa West. God help me to use these 2 platforms to fight injustice,” jovial Joel tweeted.
He won the seat after defeating the National Resistance Movement‘s Margret Zziwa Nantongo
